The Dunhuang CSP + 120MW photovoltaic power generation project is developed and constructed by Longyuan (Dunhuang) New Energy Development Co., Ltd., and China Power Construction Ningxia Engineering Co., Ltd. undertakes the EPC. This project uses 100% tracking brackets, exclusively supplied by Trina Tracking. The project site is located in the Andun Basin. The landform is a Gobi desert with flat and open terrain and an altitude of approximately 1,200m. Qili Town in Dunhuang City is windy and sandy, with a large temperature difference between day and night, strong solar radiation, and better light energy resources than the rest of the country. The annual sunshine hours can reach 3257.9 hours. The project covers an area of ??approximately 3,594 acres, with a construction capacity of 120MW, and a total of 2,502 sets of TRW Tracking Pioneer 2P products installed. After the project is put into operation, it is expected that the average annual power generation will reach 290 million kilowatt-hours, saving 102,300 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 276,800 tons each year .
