New York-based banking giant Citibank announced a partnership deal with ride-hailing app Grab, that will allow Citibank credit card holders to pay for Grab fares by redeeming credit card points, the lender and company said in a joint statement on Monday (05/09). To avail of the service, Citibank credit card holders can redeem points by registering with Grab''s payment service, GrabPay. To pay for Grab rides, customers can redeem points at a rate of 360 points for every S$1 (70 US cents) billed. New customers who sign up for Citibank credit cards will automatically receive free rides with Grab up to S$50. |
