Work Detail The Chilean company IngeUp has installed a 5.4 kW photovoltaic system in Valparaíso. This is an installation of twelve solar panels for off-grid self-consumption with batteries. The Chilean company IngeUp has installed a 5.4 kW photovoltaic system for a private client in the Chilean town of Olmue (Valparaíso). It is an off-grid self-consumption installation with batteries. The twelve 450 W photovoltaic modules are PERC technology, produced by the Chinese brand Yingli Solar and the Mono Half Cell model. It also has an inverter from the Chinese brand Voltronic Axpert and the MAX 7200W 48V model. The installation was completed with a lithium battery from the Chinese brand Pylontech and model US2000 48V 50A. The system was installed facing north (Chile). The structure is made up of two types of supports, a small L shaped one at the bottom of the inclination. The second type of support is telescopic and adjustable with a length of 50 cm, and with a rail and an interior guide that adjusts up to 70 cm. The project execution period was 15 days. According to the company, the installation budget was 8,835 US dollars, and it will have a return on investment of three years and three months. According to what the manager of IngeUp, Alfonso Palacios, told pv magazine , “the system was designed to enable future expansions and scaling of panels and batteries.” IngeUp, based in Santiago, Chile, is an engineering consultancy founded in 2020. It specializes in energy efficiency and designing photovoltaic generation memories, focused on non-conventional renewable energies.
