This is Itulpark, which is being built in the countrys capital, Quito, and which has just received a loan, in which IDB Invest participates, for 48 million dollars. The Itulpark Logistics Center, which is being built in the capital of Ecuador, Quito, will have a total of 8 MW installed from the installation of photovoltaic systems in each of its four warehouses. The construction of Itulpark, which is being carried out in the Itulcachi area, is expected to conclude in 2025, a project that includes building four industrial warehouses of 20,000 m2 each. According to reports from the company carrying out the project, the first industrial warehouse has already exceeded 90% of the infrastructure built. On it, “the first stage of the solar plant has been installed to generate 500 kW with the intention of producing 2 MW of photovoltaic energy per ship,” it is stated. The installation is carried out by the local company SolarTeam. IDB Invest loan IDB Invest, for its part, has reported the granting of a loan for 48 million dollars, for what is described as “the first AAA class sustainable logistics park in Ecuador.” The joint loan has a participation of IDB Invest for 16.9 million dollars; from the private capital fund ILX Fund for an equal amount, and for 14.2 million dollars from Banco Guayaquil. |
