GRIDCO Limited has issued a tender on the DEEP Portal for the procurement of 200 MW of power, aimed at medium-term electricity procurement. This initiative seeks to facilitate the acquisition of electricity resources to meet the growing demand efficiently and sustainably. The scope of work will primarily encompass the operation and maintenance of the Power Station, along with the supply of electricity. If the Supplier holds a Trading License, the scope of work will focus on supplying electricity from the Power Station, adhering to the terms outlined in the APP. This supply will be governed by a medium-term Agreement for procurement of power This agreement will be executed between the Supplier and GRIDCO in accordance with the form provided by GRIDCO as part of the Bidding Documents associated with this process. Bidders are required to submit their bids by March 06, 2024. Bidders must submit their application and bid online at the DEEP Portal by the Bid Due Date during the e-Tender Stage, which is a two-step process. Bidders can participate in e-Bidding events by paying a charge of 500 per MW per request for the total capacity sought by GRIDCO. The time period is set for 4 years initially, with the option to extend it up to 6 years. The Bidder is required to pay GRIDCO a fee of Rs 60,000 (Rupees sixty thousand) for every 100 MW capacity to be procured, in addition to applicable taxes, as specified above, as the cost associated with the Bidding Process. The bid will be valid for at least 120 days from the Bid Due Date. Bidders must pay a bid security of Rs 2 lakhs for each MW of capacity provided. |
