To formalize their collaboration, both companies participated in the second Private Sector Forum held on February 6 and 7 in Riyadh, hosted by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The forum facilitated discussions between top business leaders and policymakers, highlighting the importance of the private sector in the Kingdom’s development and exploring opportunities in emerging regions.
Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 blueprint, the Private Sector Forum plays a strategic role in the country’s economic diversification, focusing on innovation, technology, and sustainable solutions. Saudi Arabia boasts one of the world’s highest solar irradiations, making it conducive to solar energy development. With 13 renewable energy projects under development and a collective capacity exceeding 11 GW as of 2023, the country is poised for substantial growth in solar PV installations. Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman aims to add 20 gigawatts of renewable energy annually, reaching 130 gigawatts of renewable energy by 2030.
The Private Sector Forum offers an ideal platform for Array to expand its global presence and forge strategic partnerships, solidifying its role as a driving force in the transition to cleaner energy. It serves as a catalyst for collaboration and awareness, facilitating the promotion of a more sustainable and renewable future in the Middle East. |
