National Farmer’s Day in Ghana falls on December 1st. To mark this day this year, Dutch & Co is proud to announce that we are collaborating with our sixth agro-processing business in Ghana.
Earlier this week, our General Manager, Herbert Friese, signed a new EPC agreement with Golden Exotics – the leading producer of bananas in Ghana – for the engineering and construction of a Grid-Tie Rooftop Solar PV system at their FTC warehouse.
Starting soon, Dutch & Co will install a 200kWp solar system which is projected to generate 287,000 KWh annually and will reduce the carbon dioxide footprint of Golden Exotics’ FTC warehouse by 124 tonnes each year.
The new partnership is the 25th solar installation project Dutch & Co has signed this year alone and will be Dutch & Co’s 81st solar site that will be operational.
Herbert Friese, our General Manager remarked, “We’re pleased to have been selected by Golden Exotics to install this solar system for them which will contribute greatly to realizing their climate change commitments as they get set to conclude the celebration of their 20th Anniversary.” |
