NIC Asia Bank Ltd has launched ''NIC ASIA Swabalambi Nari Bachat Khata''. Issuing a statement on Sunday, the commercial bank said that the saving account product was launched on the auspicious day of Teej festival. According to the statement, the account carrying an interest rate of 3.5 percent per annum can be opened at zero balance. Free Visa debit card and SMS banking for two years, free Internet banking for a year, accidental death insurance coverage of Rs 200,000, free gold loan processing facilities, credit card, check book and account statement, among others, are the features of the product, according to the statement. The product is bundled with facilities which emphasizes on women empowerment and facilitates them to create their own standing in the society, the bank said in the statement. |
