THDC India has opened the bidding process for consultants to create a detailed project report (DPR) for the development of the 1000 MW Phase-I ultra mega solar power park within a larger 2000 MW solar park in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The estimated cost of the project is ?96.2 lakhs, and the selected consultant is required to submit the DPR within 90 days of receiving the work order.
Bids must be submitted by January 30, 2024, and the opening of bids will take place the following day. To participate, bidders need to provide an earnest money deposit of ?96,200.
The project will be executed at Bodana Village, Nachana-I Tehsil, in Jaisalmer, covering an expansive area of about 10,000 acres.
Additionally, the successful bidder is obligated to submit 5% of the contract value as a performance bank guarantee within 15 days after receiving the letter of award.
The DPR requirements encompass various assessments, including site engineering, soil testing reports, evaluation of solar radiation resources, topography details, hydrology data, load flow assessment for the proposed substation, environmental and social impact assessments, among other considerations.
The selected consultant is also tasked with providing an estimate of the solar power cost in the park, outlining the project execution schedule, and furnishing details on the transmission capacity availability up to the termination point, both within the state and interstate.
In case of any delays, liquidated damages equivalent to 0.5% of the total contract value will be applicable per week, with a maximum cap of up to 10% of the total EPC contract value.
This initiative by THDC India marks a significant step towards the development of a substantial solar power infrastructure in the region. |
