The Buildings & Factories (B&F) Business of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction has successfully secured a significant order from HITES (A Mini Ratna PSU) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The Health Business Unit of the HRC SBG (Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business) has sealed the deal to construct a new AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) at Rewari, Haryana. This construction project will be undertaken on a Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with execution slated for Q3 FY24. The extensive facilities encompass a 720-bed Teaching Hospital, a 30-bed AYUSH Hospital, a Medical College with an annual intake of 100 students, a Nursing College, a 500-seat Auditorium, and Hostel & Residential facilities. The entire project, spanning a total built-up area of 1.5 million sq. ft., is to be completed within stringent timelines.
The scope of work entails Civil structure, Finishes, and allied MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services, including built-in Furniture. Additionally, the project involves the Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Medical Gas Piping, Modular OT (Operation Theater), Pneumatic Tube System, Nurse Call System, Central Sterile Supply Department, and external development works, encompassing landscaping.
This accomplishment reinforces L&T Constructions prowess in executing complex and large-scale projects in the healthcare infrastructure sector, contributing to the development of vital medical facilities in the country. |
