Work Detail The ongoing construction of Korhogo and San-Pedro Airports in Côte D’Ivoire is reportedly 90% Complete. This was recently revealed by the country’s Ministry of Transport led by Minister Amadou Koné. According to the latter, however, the project is behind schedule as it was supposed to be delivered by the end of November 2023. Noteworthy, the project for the construction of Korhogo and San-Pedro Airports in Côte D’Ivoire is part of the government’s plan to improve the country’s infrastructure by Jan 2024. This is when the next African Cup of Nations (CAN) will be hosted in Côte d’Ivoire. The two airports will thus be critical in the facilitation of mobility for football players and fanatics during this great continental football event. Scope of the Korhogo and San-Pedro Airports renovation project At Korhogo Airport, the scope of the project covers among other works, the construction of a new terminal, the development of vehicle parking, parking areas and internal roads. Serving Korhogo, a city in the northern region of Ivory Coast, Korhogo Airport is the country’s fifth biggest airport.
