Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading provider of wind energy solutions in India, has successfully secured a substantial order for 279 MW from a prominent Commercial and Industrial (C&I) player. The order encompasses Inox Winds state-of-the-art 3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and includes a combination of equipment supply with limited scope EPC for 180 MW, along with end-to-end turnkey execution for 99 MW. Furthermore, Inox Wind will deliver post-commissioning multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the project, which is scheduled for completion by June 2025. The installation of WTGs will be distributed across Rajasthan and Gujarat.
This repeat order marks the continued partnership with a significant C&I customer, for whom Inox Wind has previously executed approximately 325 MW of orders. Kailash Tarachandani, the CEO of Inox Wind, expressed enthusiasm about the order, stating, We are excited to announce a large order from a customer with whom we enjoy a longstanding relationship. This order highlights Inox Winds strong capabilities in end-to-end turnkey wind projects as well as pure-play equipment supplies, as we move towards having an equal proportion of both in our consolidated order book going ahead. This repeat order is a testimony of our capabilities and credentials as a strong partner. I believe this order as well as our strong order inflow pipeline reinforces our commitment towards achieving substantial growth in execution and profitability in FY25 and beyond." |
