Work Detail |
The work adds to the enhancement of other stations such as Acoyte, Castro Barros, San Martín, Bulnes and Jujuy.
Buenos Aires Subways S.E. (SBASE) called for public bidding to advance with the enhancement of the Pasteur-AMIA station on Line B, with the aim of improving the existing infrastructure and the travel experience of users.
With bid opening date on January 4, the project will involve the intervention of the sectors corresponding to accesses, staircase galleries (pedestrian and mechanical), lobbies and platforms.
This is a comprehensive renovation that will include waterproofing work, painting, floor repair, replacement of lighting, rearrangement of electrical wiring, adaptation of signage and placement of braille signage on handrails and porches; new furniture on the platform, such as benches, baskets and ischial supports; and enhancement of artistic interventions (the murals will be restored, progress will be made in replacing the plots and in repairing the totem and interpretation center), reported from the state company that manages the Buenos Aires Subway.
In this way, the aim is to guarantee better circulation through the station, by transforming it into a more comfortable, orderly space with greater lighting.
Within the framework of said plan, the Acoyte and Castro Barros stations (Line A), San Martín (Line C), Bulnes (Line D) and Jujuy (Line E) have already been renovated, and progress is being made in the Faculty of Medicine (Line D ). |
