RVNL-URC JV, a joint venture between Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) and URC Construction, has been declared as lowest bidder (L1) by Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRCL) for development of elevated Metro rail stations.
The work entails part designing and constructing elevated viaduct, five elevated metro rail stations (viz. Shaheed Bagh, Khajrana Chauraha, Bengali Chauraha, Patrakar Colony & Palasia Chauraha) and Ramp between Ch. 31+755 to 34+898.061 & 3+669.547 to 5+862 for Indore Metro rail project.
The project is anticipated to be executed within 1,092 days from the date of commencement. In this JV, RVNL holds 51 percent stake, while URC Construction owns 49 percent.
RVNL, incorporated in 2003, is engaged in rail infrastructure in India. Its business model focuses on project execution and consultancy services as well as works closely with the Ministry of Railways to implement crucial railway projects. |
