The Government of Río Negro, through the Ministry of Public Works and Services and the Rio Negro Road Directorate, made official the call for Public Bidding for the repaving of provincial routes No. 6 and It is a unique corridor that crosses the territory of the Province from North to South, so the execution of this work will guarantee the quick and safe link between the Alto Valle and the Southern Region, promoting tourism, production and interregional communication. The work will be tendered in two different sections: the first of them corresponds to provincial route 6, from its intersection with National Route 22 to the junction with provincial route 68, with an extension of 57 kilometers; while the remaining one begins at the junction of provincial route 68 to La Esperanza (RP8), with a length of 128 kilometers. With the objective of preserving the pavement in good condition and extending the useful life of the pavement, the work will include the construction of a weighing station for load control and vehicle counting, with similar characteristics to the one built near San Antonio Oeste, at the time of the reconstruction of Provincial Route 2.
