| Work Detail | Say goodbye to shaky mobile videos with the DJI Osmo mobile which brings a sophisticated stabilisation system to any smartphone camera I am currently here in Europe's largest consumer electronics show IFA where most brands have unveiled new products. The good news is that most of these products will be hitting Indian shores soon. Here are some noteworthy products from the show. Phones Motorola showcased their flagship android phone the Moto Z and the newly launched Z Play along with the cool Moto Mods which extend the functionality of the phone through swappable modules. Sony has launched the XPERIA XZ and X Compact. Huawei has introduced the Nova and Nova Plus. Lenovo showcased the P2, K6, K6 Note and K6 Power smartphones.ZTE has announced the Axon 7 and Axon 7 Mini. Acer has announced their Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus smartphones. The device employs motors to keep your phone still despite hand shakes or body movements. You can even choose to track objects with the ActiveTrack features by using the DJI Go App. Wearables Samsung announced their new smartwatches, the Gear S3 Classic which true to its name looks and feels like a traditional watch whilethe Gear S3 Frontier has a more rugged design. Both the watches are IP68 water and dust resistant and run on the Tizen OS. The watch features a 1.3 inch circular Super AMOLED display which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ and is powered by a 1GHz processor paired with 768MB of RAM and features 4GB of internal storage along with built-in GPS. Asus announced the ZenWatch 3 with a 1.39 inch AMOLED display which is one of the most stylish Android Wear devices to hit the market. It is one of the first products to be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor from Qualcomm which promises better battery life. One cool feature is the HyperCharge technology which gives the watch 60 percent charge with just 15 minutes of charging. Computers Acer claims to have introduced the thinnest laptop in the world with the Swift 7 which is just 9.98mm thick and weighs just 1.1kg and still manages to pack a 13.3 inch full HD screen and the 7th generation Intel i5 processor along with 8GB of RAM. You can still get about 9 hours of battery life from this laptop running on Windows 10. With the Lenovo Yoga Book, you can write on your familiar notepad and have it digitally stored in the cloud. The Yoga Book is the most innovative tablet computer since the introduction of the iPad and was announced after several years of R&D. Just press a button and writing area transforms into a typing area with the Halo keyboard. The Yoga Book is definitely a product from the future but will be available in India shortly in Windows and Android versions with even built-in LTE supports in select markets. |
