The Karnataka Urban Water Supply & Drainage Board (KUWSDB) has invited bids for providing underground drainage system to Hebbagoddi City, Bommasandra and Jigani towns in Karnataka. It is to be executed through design, build, operate and transfer (DBOT) mode.
The work comprises construction, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of wetwell-cum-pump houses along with pre-treatment unit, DI rising main, DG room, pumping machinery, 11 kV express feeder main, sewage treatment plant (STP), deodourization for wet wells and STP’s and allied works which are essential for successful commissioning of the project. Preparation of a detailed topographical survey, design and drawings (hydraulic & structural), and providing sewer network with house service connections are covered in the scope.
The completion period is 36 months, which is followed by operation & maintenance for five years, including one year of defects liability period. The contract is worth Rs 281.08 crore.
