Work Detail | Thred Ltd has been invited by Microsoft Corporation to showcase its product and platform at the Microsoft Channel Kick-Off (CKO) 2016 partner conference. The Thred application allows users to integrate multiple social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. The invitation to CKO 2016 follows a successful integration of Thred’s social media messaging functionality and core system into Microsoft’s Office 365 suite of products. Thred recently grabbed attention after getting selected to Microsoft's BizSpark program, earning $160,000 worth of Azure credits along with promotion to the partner ecosystem. Thred is headquartered in Hong Kong, but listed on the ASX in June 2016 following a deal with Perth-based resources company Promesa. Prior to relisting, the company raised $6.35 million through an oversubscribed public offer at $0.05 per share. Presenting at CKO 2016 marks a significant evolution in Thred’s relationship with Microsoft. This invitation-only event is the region’s premier Microsoft partnership event and offers Thred access to more than 1,000 delegates who represent Microsoft’s top clients across the Asia Pacific region. The company will have the opportunity to demonstrate both its Office 365 integration and core functionality of the Thred platform. Significantly, Thred and Microsoft expect to release the Thred/Office 365 integrated service in Q1 2017. Thred had a cash balance of $3.7 million as at 30 June 2016. |
