Work Detail Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has called for the cooperation of the Jharkhand government in advancing ongoing railway projects, emphasizing the significant investment made by the Centre in the states development. During a press interaction at Ranchi station, Vaishnaw highlighted that Rs. 43,211 crore is earmarked for enhancing railway infrastructure in Jharkhand. The minister pointed out the substantial increase in the budget for railway development in Jharkhand, rising from Rs. 2,800 crore before 2014 to the current allocation of Rs. 5,271 crore. He also disclosed plans to elevate 57 stations in the state to world-class standards. Arriving at Ranchi from Badampahar in Odisha, where three trains were flagged off by President Droupadi Murmu, Vaishnaw underscored the importance of the Jharkhand governments collaboration in various aspects, including land and forest clearance and maintaining law and order. Expressing the need for close monitoring by the state government, Vaishnaw urged Jharkhands Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, and Director-General of Police to personally oversee railway projects and address any arising issues. Additionally, he emphasized the adherence to Prime Minister Modis "development formula" to propel Jharkhand toward becoming a developed state. While acknowledging the democratic process during elections, Vaishnaw emphasized that there should be no compromise on Jharkhands development. Appealing to the people of Jharkhand, the minister encouraged them to write to the Chief Minister, urging cooperation for the states development. During his journey to Ranchi, Vaishnaw met with a delegation from the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Tatanagar station. The delegation raised the request for a direct train from Jamshedpur to Jaipur or Phulera, citing the significant population of people from Rajasthan residing in Jamshedpur.
