Governor Alberto Rodríguez Saá concluded with an intense tour of the Ayacucho department. The head of state spoke and listened to the residents of each locality and representatives of the vital forces of each region.
The governors agenda in the northern province began in Candelaria where he visited the construction of the new UPrO headquarters and also delivered an ambulance.
The activity continued in Quines with the inauguration of 24 blocks of pavement and the delivery of another ambulance. Later he inspected the work of 19 homes and the UPrO headquarters. Then, he arrived in Luján to visit the construction of 8 homes.
In Leandro Alem, the governor inaugurated the Natural Gas Network in the town and then visited the four homes that are in the process of construction.
Finally, Alberto Rodríguez Saá inaugurated the San Francisco Cultural Center Theater and installed 14 blocks of pavement in different neighborhoods of the town. Also, he observed the progress of the work of the UPrO headquarters and the 8 homes.
In addition to that, the provincial government has other works underway and completed within the department:
In the areas of El Señuelo and El Vinagrillo, the work to provide electrical energy for the inhabitants of the area is being carried out with 85% progress. In addition, public water supply wells for the local population and schools will benefit. This work enables the development of agricultural enterprises. The investment amounts to $107,545,887.
In Candelaria, the paving of blocks in the town was completed in an area of ??1,484 meters and the construction of 250 meters of curb curb. The work was carried out by the local municipality as contractor and the investment amounted to $36,256,452.45.
At Leandro Alem, the effluent treatment plant is valued. The work is 90% complete and has a budget of $14,497,350.72. Currently there is no waterproofing in the treatment lagoons and there is no contact chamber. Therefore, the waterproofing of both lagoons is carried out, the execution of a new contact chamber with its chlorination system, the perimeter closure to prevent the entry of animals and the readjustment of the building structures.
In a short time, work will begin to expand the sewage network and enhance the Quines effluent treatment plant. The investment will be $609,055,792.41. The work has an important social impact, due to the enhancement of the current sewage effluent treatment plant, with the incorporation of treatments for a future population of 15,000 inhabitants. In addition, it contemplates the expansion of the sanitary infrastructure to different sectors of the city, since the neighborhoods surrounding the location area do not have sewage services. The work will also bring about a better quality of life for the inhabitants, as blind wells will no longer be used as a sewage system.
