Alberto Rodríguez Saá ended the visit in the Gobernador Dupuy department after a tour of the most important works being carried out in the southern province where the State invests more than $1.7 billion. The day ended with a meeting with representatives of the living forces of the area in which they discussed the economic and productive development of the region.
The first Puntano president began his tour of the southern province in Batavia where the 44 km of repaving of Route No. 12 that connects said town with Buena Esperanza was inaugurated.
In the continuity of his activities, Rodríguez Saá inaugurated the Reverse Osmosis Plant in Buena Esperanza and inspected the housing works, the new UPrO building and the Multifuero Court.
In addition, the governor delivered medium complexity ambulances in Buena Esperanza and Nueva Galia.

First stage of the enhancement of the Nueva Galia water plant
The work is completed, it was carried out by the Municipality of Nueva Galia as contractor and the investment amounted to $5,112,829.11.
The work carried out is the first of two stages to be carried out on the property of the current water treatment plant. It consisted of replacing the 6m high and 6,000 l elevated tank with one 12 m high and 10,000 l capacity. In addition, the cistern, which had large leaks, was intervened and tasks were carried out to improve the electrical and control systems.
Second stage of storm drains in Arizona
This work is also completed and the investment amount is $52,939,368.56. The work carried out consisted of a network of storm drains through pipes buried on the main arteries of the town. This work comes to accompany the first stage of drainage, carried out in 2018, completing the general system for the entire town. In addition, the main exit channels of the urban ejido were lined, accelerating the process of evacuation of rainwater.
New water plant in the La Verde area
The work has already been completed and consisted of a drilling for water extraction, an elevated tank with a 20,000 liter reservoir and a hydration point to provide water to 40 residents of nearby rural areas. The work included the disinfection system, a command box, and the enhancement of the property with its respective lighting system and perimeter closure. The investment $19,066,597.47.
Second stage of the enhancement of the Nueva Galia water plant
The work is 10% complete, the investment is $13,943,905.48 and the contractor is the municipality of Nueva Galia. They consist of the completion of the tasks started in the first stage of work by executing a new drilling with its conduction aqueduct, a new elevated tank 12 m high and a reserve capacity of 10,000 l, and the enhancement of the operation box. .
Remodeling and renovation of the Buena Esperanza bus terminal
The work is approximately 80% complete and has an investment of $51,055,997.44. It consists of the comprehensive renovation of the entire terminal building and modernization through the inclusion of updated equipment and signage granted by the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation.
The work consists of the construction of a curb in 10 blocks of the town of Batavia with an investment of $2,254,000.00.
Widening of the Carlos Sand access and cycle path in the town of Buena Esperanza. The work includes widening the concrete pavement by 1,200 m and the bicycle lane by 1,200 m. The investment amounts to $2,254,000.00.
Eastern Aqueduct
The total estimated investment amount is $50,000,000,000.00. The work starts at the Paso de las Carretas dam and has a development length of 965 km. It will benefit more than 180,000 inhabitants (growth over the next 20 years) in 29 towns and places in the Pedernera and Dupuy departments and will improve productive conditions for 2,700,000 hectares (water for animal consumption).
