The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDC) has floated a tender for the four-laning of Silchar (near Nutan Dayapur Village) - Budha Nagar section in Assam under Bharatmala Pariyojna.
The development involves the construction of a four-lane from existing km 260.000 to existing km 233.000 under Package SJ-1 of NH-37. The HAM-based contract will be carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 489.02 crore.
The work broadly covers rehabilitation, upgradation and widening of the existing carriageway with construction of new pavement, existing pavement, major and minor bridges, culverts, interchanges, drains, and the operation and maintenance (O&M) thereof.
