"ECRs New GM Anil Kumar Khandelwal Inspects Gaya Station Redevelopment and Urges Timely Project Completion"
Anil Kumar Khandelwal, the recently appointed General Manager (GM) of East Central Railway (ECR), conducted an extensive assessment of the station redevelopment plan at Gaya station during his visit on Saturday. His visit also included an inspection of the Gaya MEMU car shed and an evaluation of the passenger amenities available at the station.
In addition to this, a high-level meeting was convened in Patna on Friday, where Khandelwal scrutinized the progress of numerous ongoing railway projects taking place at different locations within the jurisdiction of ECR. During this meeting, he delivered a clear directive to the railway officials responsible for these projects, emphasizing the importance of completing these ambitious initiatives within the specified timelines.
Birendra Kumar, the Chief Public Relations Officer of ECR, highlighted that the railway has been actively engaged in a range of projects encompassing the laying of new railway tracks, the implementation of advanced signaling systems, and the construction of vital foot overbridges.
GM Khandelwal underscored the critical need for stringent quality control measures in the construction processes. He emphasized, "A close vigil must be maintained on the quality of construction materials used in these projects," stressing the paramount importance of ensuring high-quality workmanship to meet the railways standards and objectives. |
