This work synthesizes some aspects of the project and work process for the enhancement of the facades of the MLP building: management, financing sources, cooperation, participation and extension mechanisms involved and highlights the interdisciplinary and research work required for its realization. Adding value to the building envelope of the MLP implies not only restoring, consolidating and physically and materially recovering its architectural and ornamental components but also recovering its original historical, aesthetic and technical values ??and significance, for its conservation, dissemination and transmission to society as a whole. Revalue some of the attributes that make it unique and that distinguish it as a National Historical Monument and as the first new museum in South America.
