Southern Railway has invited bids for the redevelopment of Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.
The scope of work will cover detailed engineering, surveys (preengineering, pre-construction and post-construction), procurement, fabrication, transportation, construction (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, firefighting and other related services) and installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handing over, under the specified terms, with 42 months as the completion period.
The EPC contract will be carried out at a cost of Rs 439.09 crore.
