| Work Detail | The West Virginia Division of Highways advises the following upcoming road work: Brooke County ? From Sept. 12-16, Rabbit Hill will be reduced to one lane. Southwest Energy will be repairing base failures and paving a 2.5-mile section of this road, beginning at its intersection with W.Va. 27. The work will occur daily from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers. Motorists should reduce speed and expect delays in this area. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule. Hancock County ? From Tuesday through Sept. 14, consultant bridge inspection crews will be performing bridge inspection of the Jennings Randolph Bridge, located on U.S. 30. Lane closures will occur on U.S. 30 east and westbound between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. those days. Motorist should reduce speed and expect delays in the area. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change this planned project schedule. Marshall County ? From Tuesday through Oct. 21, Big Grave Creek Road will be reduced to one lane for slip repair. Otis Eastern will be performing the slip repair for Blue Racer Midstream. The work will occur 5.6 miles south of the intersection with Fork Ridge Road. Two-way traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The work will occur daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule. Motorists should reduce speed and expect delays in this area. |
