The envelopes were opened for the paving of the entrance to Villa Paranacito on route A 08, a work undertaken by the Provincial Highway Directorate that has an official budget of more than 1,187 million pesos.

In the Provincial Directorate of Roads (DPV), and with the presence of the administrative director, Alicia Benítez, the opening of envelopes corresponding to Public Tender No. 43/23 called for the road pavement work, provincial route was carried out A08, Villa Paranacito, in the Islas del Ibicuy department.
After the opening ceremony, provincial senator Daniel Olano expressed: “We are very happy because it was a long-awaited work for the entire community and thanks to the political decision of Governor Gustavo Bordet and the director of Provincial Roads, Alicia Benítez, today it is will be able to specify.” And he added: “In these eight years we have worked together to manage works of great social impact such as urban defense and in this case the paving of 5 kilometers of the access road to the town of Paranacito; In addition to the urban defense work, road works that aim to solve the problem of flooding and obtain better accessibility to the city.”
Meanwhile, the mayor of Villa Paranacito, Gabriel García, commented: “Without a doubt, it fills me with emotion and pride to be part of these eight years accompanying the governor and the senator, and working together to be able to manage large-scale works such as defense urban and in this case the access route to Villa Parancito. This is clearly very important since it means our means of communication and many times we have been isolated in the face of a water emergency, leaving us without a supply of merchandise within our city.”
Generalities
The project contemplates the construction of a paved road on the existing layout of Provincial Route A08, from “Cerro Industrial” to “Cerro Poblacional”. It consists of a road width of 6.70 m and a shoulder width of 1.50 m. The slope of the embankment of this work is 1:2. The total length of the section to be intervened is 5,835.00 meters.
Likewise, it is planned to recycle the current layer of gravel with the incorporation of cement and calcareous soil in a thickness of 0.30 m, working on an average width of 7.10 m.
The proposal was developed for a paved access to Villa Paranacito taking into account that there may be extraordinary flood situations that impair its passability.
With respect to the works of art, this contemplates the reconstruction of two existing cross culverts, in which the hydraulic design criterion was taken to increase the cross-sectional passage area by at least 50 percent.
It is worth clarifying that these new dimensions do not respond to the design criterion of flows with determined recurrences, but rather they accompany the magnitude of the projected road works.
In addition, it is known that it is a narrow road area where the execution of works in general is difficult. For this reason, the transfer of power lines is planned, with the corresponding concrete columns and posts.
Light fixtures must also be relocated. The works are complemented by horizontal and vertical signage, along with the removal and repositioning of metal railings and new sections of metal defense barriers according to the corresponding plans.
