Work Detail |
By resolution No. 804, the Secretariat of Public Works of Salta declared failure the simple award No. 117/22 for the construction of the Comprehensive Territorial Center for Gender and Diversity Policies in Tartagal. The work had a budget of more than 76 million pesos and the Garín company was going to carry it out, but the current inflation led to them giving up due to the impossibility of extending the maintenance of the offer. The tender to award the work contemplated an official budget of 76,373,459 pesos (VAT included, at December/21 values) and an execution period of 300 calendar days. On April 10 of this year, and as the sole bidder, the company “Juan Pedro Garín Construcciones SA” was awarded to carry out the work. As a separate point, the Evaluation Commission recommended pre-awarding the work with a budget 4.95 percent higher than the original figure, establishing it at 173,311,980 pesos (VAT included, at April/23 values). The deadline for construction was maintained at 300 days, highlighting that the financing for the work comes from the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, within the framework of the Framework Agreement of the “Infrastructure Program for Child Development Centers”, signed between the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation and the Province for the execution of works throughout the provincial territory (approved by Decree No. 615/21). However, with the time elapsed, the Garín firm communicated the impossibility of again extending the deadline for maintaining the offer, adding the financial and economic distortions produced, requesting the rejection of the offer presented in April. The Legal and Technical Coordination of the Ministry of Public Works did not object to the request and declared the simple award “failed”; published in the Official Gazette of Salta. |
