The bidding envelopes for the resurfacing of Route Nº35 that connects Seguí with Route Nº18 were opened.
The mayor of Seguí Gerardo Heberlein, the head of the Provincial Directorate of Roads, Alicia Benítez, the former mayor of Seguí Cristian Treppo, and the Secretary of Finance of the Municipality of Seguí Mariela Schaab participated in the event.
This project extends from National Route No. 18 to this town; as well as includes works of art on surrounding roads. Two companies participated in the tender.
Alicia Benítez, head of the Provincial Directorate of Roads, expressed: "To this resurfacing work on Route No. 35, two very important works were added that are within the ejido of the Municipality of Seguí, such as two carriageways on rural roads, from the El Gato stream. and Martín Grande, are provincial funds that are available so that in the short term we can award and start the work.

He also added "This week the no objection came from the bank, all those processes that we carried out studying the offers and others gave us the "ok", in the short term we sent everything to the Provincial Accounting Office so that it can be awarded with the resolution of Roads and sign the contract. The bank is going to start paying all the certificates and we are very pleased to be able to give this good news to the mayor and Cristian (Treppo) who have worked so hard for this work. This work generates not only the workers who are hired directly but also those who move the area because they have the obligation to rent homes, set up workshops, feed people and this mobilizes other types of enterprises in the area.
Mayor Gerardo Heberlein commented "These are immense works in terms of budget and have a high impact in terms of the development of our town and the region. Production, workers, the Route are transported through these two very important routes. 35 is our direct communication with the provincial capital and twelve years ago at the inauguration in 2011 it was a before and after in our city because we know where there is communication, good logistics, the towns grow, employment increases and we are very happy, expectant that in "The next few days will begin."
