Acha: long-awaited work begins
The long-awaited construction work of storm drains and road infrastructure in the West neighborhood of General Acha is about to begin and the winning company is already working on site thinking about the safety of the residents while the work lasts.
Company personnel and the IPAV manager, Romina Montes de Oca, held a meeting in the city to work on the matter. "It is the work that will solve a historical problem in General Acha," the official recalled and said that the meeting with the technical teams addressed the tasks of prevention and information to the residents of the area where the work will be carried out in order to guarantee security, which also extends to the companys personnel.
They announced that the work will begin on Charlone Street and the existing drainage channels in the surrounding area. In addition, they will carry out dissemination tasks to alert the front members of the area and request their collaboration by complying with the instructions.
Governor Sergio Ziliotto has already signed the contract with the company. It has an amount of just over 1,358.7 million pesos and it is estimated that almost a thousand families located in the area will directly benefit from the work that will allow rainwater to be channeled, which given the geography of the place causes serious disruptions in homes. and streets.
The works include 44 blocks of curb, 54 blocks of asphalt with speed bumps, 30 blocks of storm drain pipes, 33 inspection chambers, 52 horizontal and vertical drains, 340 meters of concrete channel lining, 30 accessibility ramps. , 220 household waste containers, 72 urban tree units, a hydraulic energy dissipator and sidewalk repair.
