PMB begins construction on new Valley Health Centre San Jose
PMB, a US-based healthcare real estate developer, has begun work on Valley Health Centre San Jose, a new medical office facility in San Jose, California, alongside Santa Clara Valley Healthcare. The proposed facility will provide county residents with convenient access to a variety of healthcare services.
Aside from that, it hopes to contribute to the conversion of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority’s (VTA) medical office building into a pedestrian-friendly, mixed use community.
This ten-story skyscraper with a total size of 230,000 square feet is located at 1410 South Bascom Avenue. The VHC San Jose is a landmark project of the City of San Jose’s Urban Village idea. Further, its primary goal is to meet the health care needs of Santa Clara County’s population of 1.9 million people.
Services offered by the new facility include OB/GYN subspecialties, adult medicine, adult emergency care, dental, and diagnostic imaging. Furthermore, facility support services, behavioural health, paediatric subspecialties, maternal and foetal medicine and paediatric primary care. Additionally, paediatric urgent care, specimen collection lab and administration, pharmacy, and patient support services will be included.
“PMB is grateful to join Santa Clara Valley Healthcare in developing the next generation of medical facilities through this Public-Private Partnership.” said PMB senior vice president Ben Rosenfeld. VHC San Jose is separated into two sections that glide past one other. This creates a slender building with close patio areas. Additionally, the upper level patio will be set aside solely for staff.
