The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for upgradation of Salon-Jais-Jagdishpur road section of NH-931A on EPC mode.
The augmentation of the existing carriageway will extend from design chainage km 0.000 to km 5.740 to four lane divided carriageway and from design chainage km 5.740 to km 53.500 to two lane with paved (total design length 53.500 km). This will be carried out along with one time improvement in four realigned/bypassed built-up areas for a total length of 19.732 km in Uttar Pradesh.
The contract valued at Rs 461.94 crore, also involves the rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains.
The contractor shall also be responsible for the maintenance of the project during the defect liability period (DLP). The construction period of 24 months is to be followed by maintenance for five years from the actual date of completion.
