Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has been declared as lowest bidder (L1) by Central Railways for the construction of tunnels in Dharakoh Maramjhiri section.
The project comprises construction of four tunnels (total length 1.6 km) with ballast less track, earthwork in formation, development of important bridges (two nos), major bridges (one no), minor bridges (25 nos), supply of stone ballast, track linking, side drain retaining wall and related works from km 831.8 to km 841.9 in Dharakoh Maramjhiri section in connection with the third line.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 311.17 crore, which is to be executed within 18 months.
RVNL is engaged in executing various types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable-stayed bridges, among others. |
