NTPC Green Energy (NGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids for the appointment of a consultant and the hiring of a designated operational entity (DOE) for the validation and verification of a 50 MW solar project in Rajgarh, Rajasthan, up to December 31, 2020, and renewal of the project for an additional seven years to continue receiving clean development mechanism (CDM) benefits and carbon credits.
The last date for the submission of bids is September 25, 2023. Bids will be opened the next day.
The consultant will select the auditor/verifier/DOE for this project from the list of auditors/verifiers approved by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Board.
The scope of the work involves providing comprehensive assistance in verifying the 50 MW Rajgarh Solar project ensuring compliance with
relevant rules and guidelines.
After verification, a report on certified emission reductions (CERs) must be submitted to the CDM Board. The consultant is responsible for offering technical support during verification, which follows approved project
documentation and procedures.
The consultant will assess the site, review pre-verif ication activities on-site or remotely, and discuss monitoring and verification requirements with project executives based on the Project Design Document (PDD) and Monitoring Plan.
There is no earnest money deposit for this tender.
The selected bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG), which should amount to 10% of the total contract price for the entire project within 15 days of receiving the award letter.
Only Class-I local suppliers and Class-ll local suppliers are allowed to
take part in this tender. |
