Western Coalfields has invited bids for design and construction of a coal handling plant (CHP) (4.0 Mty.) consisting of one set of coal receiving station of Makardhokda-IOC expansion project (4.00 Mty), Umrer Area in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
The scope of work includes specification of 4x120t capacity steel hoppers for receiving coal from the trucks with vibratory feeders, belt conveyors for coal transportation upto 4C1/4C2 Conveyors of Dinesh OC CHP (8.0 Mty.) along with associated and allied facilities. It will include civil and structural and electrical & mechanical works and allied auxiliary facilities such as dust suppression system, fire fighting system, plant cleaning system, construction of 6.6 kV overhead lines, condition monitoring system, drinking water supply system, service road, general development, drainage and others.
The turnkey contract is valued at Rs 121.06 crore.
The construction period including the trial, run and commissioning of CHP is 18 months. The comprehensive maintenance of CHP will be carried out for five years, with one year warranty period and four years as DLP.
