HFCL has secured a contract worth Rs 1,015 crore from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit (MPJNM) to supply optical fibre cables (OFC). The project will be executed by HFCL in collaboration with Khilari Infrastructure as a consortium partner.
The order entails providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, which would include provision for laying of OFC on critical and important routes, for the execution of multi-village drinking water supply network project in the Sheopur district of the state.
The company is expected to execute the contract within 24 months from the date of the order, and operation and maintenance (O&M) is to be carried for 10 years, including defect liability period of one year which will run simultaneously. On the successful commissioning of the project, a three-month trial run will be conducted.
With the installation of the cables in these areas, it will enhance the O&M of the network. |
