The Ministry of Public Works, through National Roads, reported that the opening of the tender for the paving work of National Route No. 259, between the Los Rifleros bridge, was carried out. and the border with the Republic of Chile -in Futaleufú-, for which there were two interested companies.
The offer corresponding to the company Choel SRL, quoted the tasks at $641,608,576.98, while the company Pasquini Construcciones SRL, set a budget of $427,980,729.28 for the work.
This is the National Public Tender for the CONTRAT.AR system under contracting process No. 46/13-0197-LPU23, which provides for the improvement and maintenance work on National Route No. 259 over a length of 20 kilometers, between Km 54.87 (Los Rifleros bridge) and km 75.74 border with Chile.
The budget for the work, as of March 2023, is more than $362 million, and an execution period of 6 months was set, starting from the signing of the stakeout document.
The work to be carried out consists of the execution of road paving along the entire length of the work, and the work necessary to maintain the passability and safety of the section.
The project includes the profiling of the road and road area, which must be complemented by watering the road with water to facilitate the profiling task and reduce the suspended dust generated by traffic.
In addition, it is planned to carry out weeding, replacement of vertical signs and metal railings, unloading of works of art, among other works.
From the moment the tender is opened, administrative times begin, with a deadline for the presentation of observations.
Subsequently, the estimate of the presented offer will be carried out, which will be carried out by an evaluation commission from the National Highway Directorate. After this process, which will take approximately 60 days, the award of the work can be carried out. #
