The government of Entre Ríos will open the bidding envelopes during September for the execution of nine works in towns in the Tala, Colón, Paraná, Uruguay and Concordia departments. The investment reaches 3,000 million pesos.

“Public works are part of that virtuous circle that mobilizes jobs, local consumption, and above all, responds to demands in terms of educational infrastructure, energy, sanitation, and services, improving the populations quality of life. This is the commitment assumed by Governor Gustavo Bordet, and progress is being made in its realization," said the Minister of Planning, Marcelo Richard.
In this sense, the head of the portfolio highlighted that "in the month of September we are going to put out to tender nine works, where the roadmap drawn up by the governor involves reaching different points in the provincial territory to guarantee the resolution of various problems."
The opening of envelopes has to do with, in the case of energy, the Expansion of the Gas Distribution Network for the Villa Adela, Villa Zorraquín, Ramal and ERP Secondary Villa Adela de Concordia neighborhoods, and the ERP Primary and Secondary Interconnection of Natural Gas Distribution for the town of El Pingo. Between both works, the investment exceeds 700 million pesos.
On the other hand, in terms of educational infrastructure, the works for finishing toilets and repairing openings for School No. 87 "San Luis" in Villa Mantero will be put out to tender; Expansion, Refunctionalization and Repair of Roof Covers-School No. 9 "Félix Frías" of Hernández; General Repair School No. 1 "Juan José Paso" of Colón; foreseeing an investment of more than 450 million pesos.
Likewise, the envelopes will be opened for the Restoration and Enhancement work “Popular Library of Paraná. “Its execution will allow the restoration of the valuable building of the Popular Library of Paraná, which is a very important institution for the promotion of culture, not only for the provincial capital, but for the entire province,” Minister Richard remarked.
With an official budget of 390,911,080.59 pesos, the project foresees a term of execution of the works of 360 days. The restoration of the structure of the building is contemplated, repairing the damage, and reestablishing the original characteristics of the Library. It is also proposed to expand the reading room and the assembly hall to comprehensively reorganize the operation of the building.
In the reading room, the way of serving the public will be changed and new furniture will be installed with a high capacity for storing, organizing, protecting and controlling books. In the assembly hall, the mouth of the stage will be expanded, and 2 rooms for conferences, exhibitions and workshops will also be implemented, on the ground floor level, enabling the possibility of use suitable for a Convention Center.
“A project for sports and recreational spaces will also be put out to tender for the city of Nogoyá,” the minister said. This is the Completion of the Recreational and Cultural Center, whose official budget is 53,966,641.77 pesos.
“The completion of the recreational and cultural center aims to finish part of the work already started, which is currently 70 percent complete,” Richard reported. With this work the enclosure will be finalized to guarantee that it does not have leaks or interior deterioration.
Regarding sanitation works, during the month of September the envelopes will be opened for the execution of storm drains in the towns of Rosario del Tala and Colonia Crespo. Between both tenders, an investment of more than 1,320 million pesos is expected.
"In this way, the commitment assumed by Governor Gustavo Bordet is being specified, and progress is being made in a sustained way in the improvement of educational spaces, recreation, providing services such as natural gas, and sanitation, executing works that meet the demands and problems from every corner of the provincial territory” concluded the Minister of Planning, Infrastructure and Services, Marcelo Richard.
