Its design includes three buildings that will cover a total area of ??6,500 square meters.
Bidding for the third building is scheduled for October 10, with the deadline for receiving offers that same day. The project has a budget of 746,351,429 pesos and an execution period of 420 days. The complex is emerging as a shared-use space that will promote the culture of innovation through collaboration between technology companies, research institutes, universities, business incubators, technological linkage institutions and the provincial government. Its objective is to incorporate knowledge, technology and innovation to boost the regional economy and promote the development of skills in the technological field.
Governor Omar Gutiérrez expressed his enthusiasm for this provincial work and described the Technological Scientific Pole as a "very important qualitative and quantitative leap for the provinces economic development matrix." He stressed that Neuquén is at the forefront in the adoption of the knowledge economy based on innovation, science and technology.

The financing will come from the Ministry of Science and Technology in management of the provincial government. In addition, he highlighted the symbolic importance of the linking bridge, which represents a collaboration between the municipal, provincial and national levels, as well as private companies and universities.
Regarding the configuration of the complex, the first building will house part of the Neuquén administration, university education and SMEs consortium oriented to the development of applied technologies. The second module will be home to private companies related to hydrocarbon technologies, with financing provided by various companies.
