Tender for improvement works for National Route 33
The Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, through National Highway, complied with the tender act to carry out recovery and maintenance works for National Route 33, between Rosario and the access to San Eduardo. The works, planned for an extension of 179 kilometers, include patching, partial resurfacing, reconstruction of signalized crossings in various locations and the general maintenance of the stretch for two years.
Among the works tendered for RN 33, the repaving of the intervened sections with deformation milling and previous patching stands out. In the renovated sectors, the compaction and underpinning of shoulders will be completed.
In addition, they will replace the asphalt road with a concrete pavement at various traffic signalized intersections of urban crossings. The measure will prevent the deformations produced by the stop and start of heavy transport.
In another order, they will improve road safety at the exit to the south of Pérez, in the area of ??the curve on the railroad tracks, through the extension of a culvert and the expansion and paving of external shoulders.
As for maintenance tasks, the tender establishes grass cutting, weeding, and cleaning of canals and sewers over the almost 180 kilometers to benefit from this contract.
During the two-year term, signage and metal railings will be replaced, along with the renewal and reinforcement of the horizontal demarcation on the edge lines and axis of the road.
