Indian Hume Pipe Company has received a letter of award (LoA) from Rural Water Supply & Sanitation (RWSS) Department, Odisha for the execution and maintenance of a rural piped water supply project in the state.
The project is expected to be implemented in six blocks of Puri district within two years, and operation and maintenance (O&M) is to be carried out for five years after completion.
The contract, amounting Rs 639.16 crore, will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. Moreover, these two companies are likely to sign an agreement for the project in due course.
Indian Hume Pipe Company is engaged in the manufacturing of water supply, sewage and irrigation pipes including prestressed concrete (PSC) pipes, and has also executed turnkey water supply projects. |
