Mango Power announced that its new Mango Power M home battery solution is now available to US installers, adding a new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery option for rooftop solar homeowners. they can choose.
The LFP battery starts at 15 kWh and can be scaled to 80 kWh on a 12 kW hybrid inverter. The built-in hybrid inverter offers 12 kW of continuous power to enable reliable power for the whole house. The company said that Mango Power M can be stacked up to 120 kW, which also makes it suitable for commercial energy storage solutions.
The batteries come from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), an LFP battery supplier that partners with major automakers including Ford, Tesla, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
Mango offers a 10-year warranty on the battery and the hybrid inverter. The warranty ensures that the battery capacity will be 70% or more at the end of the 10-year term.
The battery allows flexible use of electricity, storing it from the grid or from solar energy on the roof. You can power your home during blackouts, sell electricity to the grid during peak demand hours, and use stored electricity during peak retail electricity hours.
Mango Power said its batteries can be installed in just four hours, while competing systems can take up to 25 hours to install. The company said its system is compatible as a first-time installation or as an upgrade to existing home power systems.
