Solvay Peróxidos de Los Andes has launched a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production plant, located in the city of Coronel, in the Bío Bío region of Chile.
The one presented as the first hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plant, located in the city of Coronel, in the Chilean Bío Bío region, has been launched by Solvay Peróxidos de Los Andes.
In a statement it is explained that the plant will have a useful life of at least 30 years and in this first phase an initial production capacity of 23 thousand tons per year is estimated.
Hydrogen peroxide is a versatile chemical compound, which serves for different industrial uses in the pharmaceutical, mining, aquaculture and paper areas, supplying necessary and useful products for daily life such as food and beverages.
It is also used in the manufacture of cosmetics, stationery, detergents, bleaches, plastic metals and polymers, emission control, disinfectants, repair of contaminated soils, microbiological control, and more. |
