Western Railway has invited bids for the construction of single line BG tunnel between Badiya to Beka stations of Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow)-Sanawad section in connection with Ratlam-Mhow-Khandwa gauge conversion project in Madhya Pradesh.
The scope of work includes construction of a tunnel between ch 7540 to 11640 between Badiya (Ch 4100 m)-Beka (Ch 14750 m) stations, and escape tunnel including ballastless track (BLT), approach roads, earthwork, protection works and all other ancillary works.
The contract is valued at Rs 450.98 crore, and stipulates a completion period of 30 months.
