The National Directorate of Roads approved the technical project through which the Province will intervene on the A005 route, doubling its roadway, for the purpose of turning it into the new ring road of the city. It was confirmed yesterday to Puntal by the head of the Provincial Road Administration, Martín Gutiérrez. The project has already been agreed upon with the National Highway Administration, reported Gutiérrez, who added that progress is being made with the formal procedures. A few days ago, Governor Juan Schiaretti called for tenders for the completion of the first section of the ring road that goes from the intersection of routes 8 and A005, where the highway to Holmberg is being built, to General Molina street. At first, the project went to Unión de los Argentinos, but it was eventually duplicated. The work requires an investment of $1,151 million, while the term is 8 months. The opening of the envelopes will take place on August 4 and work is scheduled to begin in October, with which it is estimated that the work will be completed by mid-2024. The initiative contemplates resurfacing of the road and shoulders, readjustment of accesses, completion of an internal collector and execution of a flowerbed. The work will progress in sections until it reaches Route 36. |
