Rada Tilly advances in important infrastructure works that ensure the sustainable growth of the city.
These are 5 key works for the city, including the gas network in the industrial and services sector that has already been completed, the progress of the expansion of the Treatment Plant, the access work to the city on Av. Almirante Brown, the paving of Av. Comodoro Urtubey and the Paving Plan for 77 new blocks.
"We have already completed the work on the gas network in the industrial sector, and thus we managed to reach 100 percent coverage in the basic infrastructure of Rada Tilly," said Mayor Luis Juncos.
With the work on the gas distribution network completed in the industrial and services sector, Rada Tilly achieved full coverage in all the citys basic services: water, energy, sewage and gas.
With great satisfaction, the Mayor pointed out that: "we achieved full coverage in all basic services, this is something we longed for and for which we have been working, an achievement for the 75-year-olds who will be turning Rada Tilly this month."
PROCESSING FACILITIES
At the same time, in the heart of the city, the tasks for the expansion of the Treatment Plant are advancing. The mayor of Rada Tilly explained that the work will double the current processing capacity of the effluents and will regulate the levels of the lagoon, allowing to project the growth of the city and expand the forested areas and irrigation networks.
With an execution period of 30 months, the work is carried out through the Drinking Water and Sanitation Program - PROAS II of the National Entity of Water Sanitation Works (ENOHSA); and financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
ROADWORKS
In addition, progress is being made on two fundamental pavement works in the southwest sector and in the access to the city; and the work contract for the 77-block Plan has already been signed, which will allow the completion of 75 percent of the paving in Rada Tilly.
"We will begin paving work on 77 blocks in the Altos de la Villa neighborhood on Esquel and Trevelin streets," anticipated the Mayor of Rada Tilly, Luis Juncos. This is the first of the eight sectors included in the plan that includes the largest paving work in the history of Rada Tilly.
Meanwhile, work continues on the "Urban Paving Av. Comodoro Urtubey" and "Access Works Av. Almirante Brown" works.
On Av. Comodoro Urtubey, progress was made in redefining and leveling the section between Av. Fragata Presidente Sarmiento and Av. Francisco Gurruchaga. In addition, approximately 80% of the gutter cords and concrete speed bumps have already been executed.
"In the next few days the works will begin to pave one of the hands that are contemplated in the execution of Av. Urtubey", anticipated Luis Juncos.
Regarding the access work, the mayor explained that progress was made in the modifications of the entrance roundabout and ditch cordons were executed up to Av. Moyano. In addition, a large part of Av. Almirante Brown was conditioned with patching and crack sealing tasks, and the north and south collectors were paved, including new sectors for parking.
