It seeks to recondition two existing sheds on the property and the incorporation of new merchandise storage spaces.
The Government of the Province announced the call for public tender BID 3806/OC-AR SEPA PROSAP-IV-599-LPN-O for the Expansion and Diversification of the Chubut Concentrator Market, to adapt two already existing sheds on the property, and the incorporation of new sheds to generate storage space for the merchandise.
Details of the work
In one of the sheds mentioned, the "Blue" with an approximate area of ??700 m2, it is planned to install 7 meat stalls, either red or white, always for wholesale. Since said shed has its own toilets and offices, it is only necessary to adapt the warehouse and its services. Each post will be electrically readjusted to receive three-phase power cold rooms.
In another of the aforementioned sheds, the "Brown" one, with an approximate surface area of ??1,700 m2, it is planned to have 19 stalls for related food items and services to the agri-food sector, with its corresponding sanitary module, being necessary to carry out the subdivision and adaptation works of the services for this, and the incorporation of a sanitary module for stallholders and visitors, with its facilities.
In addition, given the current demand from fruit and vegetable dealers to have sheds close to their stalls to collect there and be able to easily move the merchandise, the construction of two sheds with 8 individual modules of 60 m2 each is projected, behind the fruit and vegetable warehouse.
Tender
The Provincial Executing Unit of the Ministry of Economy and Public Credit of Chubut invites eligible Bidders to submit sealed offers for the "Work: Expansion and Diversification of the Chubut Concentrator Market" The construction period is six months.
The bidding will be carried out in accordance with the National Public Bidding (NCB) procedures established in the Inter-American Development Bank publication entitled Policies for the Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries, as defined in the Bidding Documents.
Eligible bidders who are interested may obtain additional information and purchase a complete set of Bidding Documents in Spanish, at contratacionesuep@gmail.com, Avda. 25 de Mayo N° 550 1° Piso (CP 9.103) in the city of Rawson from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Procurement and Bidding Portal of the Province of Chubut (https://licitaciones.chubut.gov.ar ), and on the PROSAP Portal (https://www.prosap.gov.ar ).
Bids must be sent to the indicated address no later than August 11 of this year at 10:30 am. Electronic bids will not be allowed, those received after the deadline will be rejected. They will be physically opened in the presence of the representatives of the bidders who wish to attend in person.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Maintenance Guarantee of $1,411,018.
The market
Inaugurated in April 2017, the market currently has 39 permanent stalls for producers, wholesalers, local and extra-regional carriers in operation, a vehicle income of approximately 100 units per day, between trucks and vehicles that produce the loading and unloading of merchandise, as well as the supply to the different businesses in the region. On average, the sales volume (merchandise income) is 900,000 kilos per month.
It is authorized by the Municipality of Trelew and SENASA for the wholesale sale of fruit and vegetable products, all kinds of meat and derivatives, dairy products and derivatives, warehouse products, Balanced Food, all in the form of drawers or bags, vacuum packaging, or closed bundle.
