The North Western Railway has floated a tender for doubling of railway line between Rewari to Kathuwas section of Jaipur Division.
The doubling work includes all civil engineering works, comprising earthwork, blanketing, side drains, major bridges and viaducts, minor bridges, RUBs and others, all signalling and telecommunication works including automatic block signalling work and high-rise OHE (2x25kV) electrification works from Rewari (excluding) (ch 1350) to Kathuwas (including) (ch 28800), covering a length of 27.45 km.
The estimated cost of the contract is Rs 250.18 crore, with a completion period set at 23 months.
