Renew Sandur Green Energy (RSGEPL) has commissioned its renewable energy (RE) project at Kudligi in Vijayanagara district of Karnataka. The RE project involving a 33 MW solar power plant and 9.9 MW wind power plant will help to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and minimise carbon footprint. Renew Energy Global PLC, a head company of Renew Green Energy Solutions (ReNew) had partnered with Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores (SMIORE) and signed an equity-based agreement to develop a power plant combining wind and solar energy to generate sustainable electricity. ReNew company and SMIORE are committed to a sustainable future, and this project is expected to contribute significantly to the region’s RE capacity. Gurugram-based ReNew has a renewable asset base of 13.7 GW, including projects under development and in the pipeline. |
