Work Detail With 300 photovoltaic solar parks served and more than 1.8 million solar panels installed in Brazil, the company expects to reach 30% of the total business in Latin America in the next 12 months. MTR Solar, a photovoltaic equipment distribution company based in São Paulo (Brazil) wants to strengthen its presence in the rest of Latin America and enters into the manufacture of trackers and fixed structures for photovoltaic plants. MTR offers products from ABB, Huawei, Risen, Sungrow and Tamura. Until this year, the LATAM market represented 5% of the companys equipment sales and the company intends to reach 30% in the next 12 months. It affirms that, in the first four months of 2023, it has supplied more than 500 MW of solar equipment, a growth of 50% in relation to the same period of the previous year. The companys goal for the year 2023 is to generate business that reaches 1.5 GW in equipment. New offices are scheduled to open in Chile and Colombia in the third quarter of 2023, and the company already has an office in Mexico. In addition, last year it created two joint ventures for the manufacture of fixed structures and solar trackers, as well as medium voltage skids. The two manufacturing plants are located in the city of Juiz de Fora, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The company does not mention manufacturing capacity.
